I have 5 years of experience tutoring students from year 4 all the way to year 11. I am familiar with 11+, 13+ papers, and OCR, AQA and Edexcel GCSE syllabuses. 

I believe in not only the importance of understanding the whys and hows of solving maths questions, but also the approach to tackling exam papers effectively and efficiently. 

I can tutor Foundation and Higher papers, from grade 4 to 9. I offer full coverage of all the content, or additional support on top of school classes, or help with homework etc. My lessons have complete flexibility and will revolve around what topics you as the student are struggling with and want to cover.

I work with the students to set the goals that we want to achieve and identify how to achieve them; this means shaping the tutorials to fit the needs of the student, and regularly reviewing the student’s progress. For students that are preparing for GCSE exams, the lessons will have a strong focus on tackling past exam papers and exam-style questions to become familiar with the exam structure and develop techniques needed to tackle them successfully. The aim is to build up students’ confidence by ensuring that they are fully prepared. I share my advice and tips on how to prepare for exams and manage workload better.
