About Me & My Tutoring Services

Hi! I’m a passionate and dedicated student tutor with a particular love for Spanish, English Language and English Literature. I have recently completed my GCSEs and will be continuing my education into Year 12, giving me a fresh understanding of the GCSE experience and the challenges that come with preparing for exams.

I know that every student learns differently. Some students may struggle with understanding certain topics, while others may understand the content but lack confidence when it comes to answering exam questions. My aim is to create a friendly, patient and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their skills.

🇪🇸 GCSE Spanish

Spanish is one of my favourite subjects, and I particularly enjoy helping students develop their vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing and overall confidence with the language. Sessions can be adapted to the student’s individual needs, whether they want to improve their general Spanish skills, prepare for GCSE exams or focus on a particular area they find difficult.

📖 English Literature

For English Literature, I can help students develop their understanding of texts, characters, themes, context and key ideas. I can also support students with essay structure, analysing quotations and developing stronger, more detailed exam responses.

✍🏽 English Language

For English Language, I focus on helping students become more confident with analysing texts, identifying techniques, structuring responses and developing their own writing. Sessions can include exam-style questions, practice responses and personalised feedback.

🎯 My Approach

My tutoring is centred around understanding rather than simply memorising. I want students to understand why an answer is successful and how they can apply their knowledge independently in an exam.

Sessions can be personalised around each student’s current ability, schoolwork, upcoming assessments and individual goals. Whether a student needs help with a specific topic, wants regular support throughout the year or simply needs extra confidence before their exams, I aim to make each session useful, encouraging and productive.

My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more confident, independent and motivated learners.
